JACET 九州・沖縄支部研究紀要の投稿規定
（紀要の名称、発行回数）
1．本研究紀要（以下、本紀要とする）は、英文名称をAnnual Review of English Learning and Teaching、和文名称を『JACET
九州・沖縄支部研究紀要』とし、レフェリー付きの年刊論文集で、毎年１回発行するものとする。
（支部研究紀要発行の目的）
2．本紀要は、JACET 九州・沖縄支部会員（以下、会員とする）に研究の成果を発表する機会を提供し、会員相互の研究に関する情報の交換を促進することにより、会員の研究活動の質的な向上を図ると共に、日常の教育活動の活性化に寄与することを目的とする。
（投稿者の資格）
3．投稿者は、次の者に限る。
1）支部会員、
2）支部会員と共同研究を行う他支部の会員、
3）特に編集委員会が認めた者
（論文の種類、研究対象の範囲）
4．投稿できる論文の種類は、研究論文（Articles）、実践報告（Research Reports）または研究ノート（Research Notes）とする。投稿者は論文提出に際して三者の区分を明示して紀要編集委員会に伝えなければならない。研究対象の範囲は、英語教育学、応用言語学、言語習得などの分野とする。さらに、英語学、言語学、英米文学なども対象範囲と認められるが、この場合は、必ず英語教育的な視点が研究の基本方針に含まれていなければならない。
研究論文 (Articles)
英語教育学、応用言語学、言語習得などの分野に関して実証的または理論的に研究を進め、オリジナリティを有するもの。研究視点、目的、方法、分析等を通して学術的な意義を示すもの。
実践報告 (Research Reports)
英語教育学、応用言語学、言語習得などの分野に関する授業実践等の成果を示すもの。実践方法、分析、結果や考察を通して教育的意義を示すもの。
研究ノート (Research Notes)
英語教育学、応用言語学、言語習得などの分野に関して萌芽的または独創的な知見を示すもの。内容に妥当性があり、今後の発展に期待が持てるもの。
（使用言語）
5．使用言語は英語または日本語とする。
（未発表原稿）
6．投稿論文は未発表のものに限る。また、他の紀要や論文雑誌（ISSN付きProceedingを含む）に投稿予定の論文は、本紀要に投稿することができない。
（著作権、転載の禁止）
7．投稿論文の著作権は大学英語教育学会に所属し、著者本人であるなしにかかわらず、本紀要に転載された論文を本部の許可なく無断で、メディアの手段を問わず、複製あるいは転載することはできない。投稿者の所属大学等が、掲載された原稿を機関リポジトリ等への登録を行う場合、事前に本学会の承認を受けることとする。
（投稿論文の審査方法）
8. 審査の方法については別途に規則を定める。
（投稿の方法と期限）
9．本紀要の投稿者は、Microsoft Word を使って作成した原稿ファイルとそのPDFファイルを、毎年５月末日までに紀要編集委員長宛に電子メールの添付ファイルとして送信する。送信原稿には、氏名と所属を記入しない。本論で投稿者本人を示す情報は削除し、その部分を
XXXX で記すこと。参考文献のセクションで本人を示す情報も同じく XXXX（year） だけにして最後に記すこと。
（投稿原稿の構成・形式）
10．論文の構成や形式、図や表の作成方法について、本投稿規定とテンプレート(http://jacet.fit.ac.jp/custom9.html)での指示がなければ、American
Psychological Association 発行のAPA Publication Manual の最新版の形式に準じることとする。
11．投稿原稿には、A4 版の用紙を縦に用い、左右マージンを25ミリ、上下マージンを20ミリと30ミリとして、この範囲内に12ポイントサイズの活字を用いて38～39行で入力する。下マージンに頁番号をセンタリングして入れる。
12．原稿の長さは、研究論文、実践報告ともに20 枚を上限とする。研究ノートは10枚を上限とする。資料、図、表、註、参考文献などは、全てを含めて制限枚数の中に納める。図や表を用いる場合には、頁の適切な箇所にこれらを配置する。
13. 英語を母語としない投稿者による英文原稿は、提出する以前に必ず英語母語話者による校正を受けることとする
14．投稿原稿は、題名（Title）、氏名及び所属（Affiliation）、アブストラクト（Abstract）、キーワード（Keywords）5
語以内、本文、註（Notes）、参考文献（References）、付録（Appendix）の順で配列される。英文の論文には英文のタイトル、和文の論文には、日英両語のタイトルを付す。抄録
(Abstract) は英文でワン・パラグラフ（300 語以内）にまとめる。註は本論の末尾に一括して付し、脚註は一切用いない。
15. タイトルの書き方・引用の方法・参考文献の書き方等は、JACET九州・沖縄支部紀要ウェブサイトのテンプレート(http://jacet.fit.ac.jp/custom9.html)
を参照のこと。
（統計法の使用について）
16．よく用いられる統計法については、参考文献を示す必要はない。また、式や用法の説明も記述する必要はない。但し、開発されたばかりか、あるいは稀にしか使用されないような統計法を用いた時、あるいは論文の性質上やむを得ない時は、式や説明を簡潔に書き加えることができる。
（内容と形式に関する助言）
17. 投稿者の研究姿勢や内容は充分尊重されなければならないが、紀要編集委員会は、投稿された原稿の審査の過程で、必要に応じて、その協議の結果に基づいて、原稿区分の変更を求める場合がある。また、投稿者に対し、原稿内容や書式に関する助言を行い、修正・再提出を求めることができる。修正を求められた場合、投稿者は、別途指定する期日までに修正原稿および修正報告書を提出する。
（広告料）
18．本紀要に掲載する協賛の会社や団体の広告料については、別途に規定を定める。
（投稿者の費用負担）
19. 本紀要中における頁数が確定した段階で、下記の要領で投稿料を執筆者に請求する。専任校を有する支部会員については、8 頁まで 25,000
円とし、これを越える1 頁ごとに 2,000 円を、専任校のない会員については、8 頁までを 20,000 円とし、これを 1 頁越えるごとに、2,000
円を、それぞれ追加して、所定振り込み用紙で投稿料として大学英語教育学会事務局に支払う。
（紀要冊子の配布と郵送費負担）
20．原則として、本紀要の冊子は会員に郵送する。
（規定の改定手続き）
21．九州・沖縄支部役員会での発議と協議を経た後、支部総会の出席者の過半数の賛成を以て本規定の一部または全部を改定することができる。

Instructions for Contributors
Title of publication and number of publication
1. This refereed journal is named Annual Review of English Learning and
Teaching in English, and JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Shibu Kenkyuu Kiyou in Japanese.
It is published once a year.
Purpose of publication
2. The JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter publishes this journal in order to
contribute to the activity of teaching as well as to elevate the quality
of research, by providing all members with opportunities to present the
results of their studies and by promoting information exchanges involving
members’ research and teaching.
Submission qualifications
3. Eligibility for submitting papers is confined to:
1) members of the JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter;
2) members of other JACET chapters who conduct joint research with member(s)
of the Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter;
3) people who are approved as exceptions by the editorial board.
Submission categories, Areas of study
4. The JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter Annual Review of English Learning and
Teaching invites submissions in three categories: Articles, Research Reports,
and Research Notes. Contributors are expected to notify the editorial board
whether their manuscripts are intended as articles, research reports or
research notes. The journal particularly welcomes manuscripts in the areas
of English language education, applied linguistics, and language acquisition.
Manuscripts in areas of English linguistics, linguistics, and British and
American literature may also be submitted on the condition that a viewpoint
of English education is involved in the principle of study.
Articles
Articles should present academically significant research viewpoints, objectives,
methods, analyses, etc. related to English language education, applied
linguistics, language acquisition or related fields, and demonstrate originality
in the development of practical or theoretical issues.
Research Reports
Research reports should present educationally significant fruitful results
or achievements related to English language education, applied linguistics,
language acquisition or related fields from English class practices using
practical methods, analyses, results, discussions, etc.
Research Notes
Research notes should present progressive knowledge and creative insight
related to English language education, applied linguistics, language acquisition
or related fields, with content validity that demonstrates promise of further
research progress.
Language
5. Manuscripts should be written in either English or Japanese.
Previously unpublished papers only
6．Manuscripts that have been previously published or are under consideration
for publication elsewhere (including proceedings with ISSN) should not
be submitted.
Copyright
7. The copyright of all articles covered in the JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter
Annual Review of English Learning and Teaching belongs to the Japan Association
of College English Teachers. No part of this journal may be copied or reproduced
in any form without permission of the Japan Association of College English
Teachers. If the institution to which the contributor belongs will register
the published manuscript in the institutional repository, etc., approval
must be obtained from the association.
Peer review process
8. Peer review process will be specified separately.
Submission guidelines and deadline
9. By the deadline of May 31, contributors should send their papers (in
Microsoft Word and PDF formats) as an
e-mail attachment to the chair of editorial board. Their name and affiliations
should not be included in their
papers. In the main part of the article, any textual references to the
author(s) should be deleted and substituted with “XXXX.” In the References
section, the masked name(s) and the published year alone should be indicated
(e.g., XXXX (2013) ) and located at the end of the section.
Structure and format of papers
10. The structure and format of the papers, as well as the presentation
of figures and tables, should conform to the requirements of the Publication
Manual of the American Psychological Association (the latest edition),
unless otherwise indicated in this submission guideline and template (http://jacet.fit.ac.jp/custom9.html).
11. Manuscripts should be typed on A4 paper in 12-point font size, 38 to
39 lines per page, with margins of 20 mm at the top and 30 mm at the bottom.
Page numbers should be inserted in the bottom margin.
12. Manuscript length must not be longer than 20 pages for Articles and
Research Reports, and must not be longer than 10 pages for Research Notes.
All information including figures, tables, notes, and references should
be included within the length limit. Figures and tables should be appropriately
integrated and placed within the text of the manuscript.
13. Contributors whose first language is not English should have their
English manuscripts checked by native speakers before submission.
14. The first page of manuscripts should indicate the title and the author’s
(or authors’) name (s) with affiliation(s), followed by Abstract, and Keywords
(no more than 5 words), main body, Notes, References, and Appendices. A
paper written in English should have an English title, while a paper written
in Japanese should have both Japanese and English titles. The abstract
should be written in English and consist of one paragraph (not more than
300 words). Endnotes should be arranged following the main body; footnotes
may not be used.
15. For details on how to write the title, citation, and references, the
template on the JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter Bulletin website (http://jacet.fit.ac.jp/custom9.html)
should be referred to.
Statistical guidelines
16. A well-known statistical measurement needs not be indicated in References,
and it is not necessary to explain its formula or concrete method. When
a newly developed or uncommon measurement is used, the formula or explanation
can be briefly described as necessary.
Range of the editorial board’s advice
17. In the process of reviewing submitted manuscripts, the editorial board
can request changes in manuscript classification, if necessary, based on
the based on the results of discussion among the board members, although
the contributors’ academic viewpoints and the contents of submitted papers
are to be respected. The editorial board can also give the contributors
advice or request that they improve their manuscripts in form or content.
If revisions are requested, the contributors should submit a revised manuscript
and a revision report by the deadline specified by the editorial board.
Sponsorship
18. The sponsorship fee which companies and organizations are charged for
publication of advertisements in this journal is to be regulated separately.
Contributor fees
19. Once a manuscript has been accepted for publication and its number
of printed pages has been calculated, each contributor will be charged
a publication fee according to the scale below:
A chapter member with a full-time position should pay 25,000 yen up to
8 pages, plus 2,000 yen for each additional page. A chapter member without
a full-time position should pay 20,000 yen up to 8 pages, plus 2,000 yen
for each additional page. The fee should be paid to the JACET Office by
an instructed form of transfer.
Distribution of issues
20. Each issue of this journal is to be sent to chapter members by mail,
in principle.
Revision of regulations
21. All or some of these regulations can be revised by a majority vote
of attendees during discussions of proposals of the general meeting of
the JACET Kyushu-Okinawa Chapter.
